First Presbyterian Church

     Every Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 12:00, we open our doors and our hearts by providing free food to those in Laurel County who are food insecure. Currently, there are almost 10,000 people in the county who are classified as food insecure. This means that almost 10,000 people in the county, because of household-level economic and social conditions, may have limited or uncertain access to adequate or nutritious food. It means individuals may not know when their next meal may be or if they will be able to feed their children adequately. Roughly 1 in 4 children in the county fall into this category. 

      All Laurel County residents who come to our doors are able to receive fresh, nutritious food regardless of who they are, for they are all God's children.
