We are actively in search of a new pastor to help us in our mission of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ by studying His word, worshipping together, and serving the Lord through outreach to the community.
Our most recent pastor retired due to health concerns and moved to Ohio to be near his family. We wish Pastor Yost and his wife, Marsha a wonderful retirement. The following is a brief biography of Pastor Doug Yost.

Pastor Doug was a retired teacher and college administrator who came out of retirement to be the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church. He graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Asbury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In addition, he had extensive postgraduate work in Organizational Administration. Before coming to First Presbyterian Church he taught High School Psychology, Bible, and Theatrical Arts for twelve years in Malaysia. Prior to that he served as a senior pastor for over fifteen years, worked as a college administrator, and was a professor for over sixteen years. Pastor Doug and Marsha celebrated 50 years of marriage in April, 2024. They have two sons and six grandchildren.
