First Presbyterian Church

Pastor Doug is a retired teacher and college administrator who has come out of retirement to be the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church. He is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Asbury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In addition, he has extensive postgraduate work in Organizational Administration. He most recently taught High School Psychology, Bible, and Theatrical Arts for twelve years in Malaysia. Prior to that he served as a senior pastor for over fifteen years, and worked in a college administrator, and was a professor for over sixteen years. Pastor Doug and Marsha will celebrate 50 years of marriage in April

2024. They have two sons and six grandchildren.
